Side effects related to radiation treatment are local such as skin irritation or loss of hair within the treatment area, or more generalized such as fatigue. The apperance and severity of side effects will depend upon the illness, the individual, and the part of the body being treated. Each person is unique; no two people experience radiation treatment in exactly the same way even if they seem to have the same illness.
